Asian Bar Association of Nevada

The Asian Bar Association of Nevada (ABANV) is the largest premiere non-profit association of Asian attorneys serving the Las Vegas, NV community and beyond. Founded in 2002, ABANV provides comprehensive professional development and networking opportunities for attorneys, judges, law professors, legal professionals, paralegals, and law students throughout Nevada. The organization supports the professional growth and advancement of its members while cultivating a deeper understanding of issues facing the Asian legal community and the broader Asian community. ABANV serves as a vital resource and network for Asian and minority legal professionals, working to improve the study and practice of law while ensuring fair administration of justice. The association promotes meaningful participation of Asians and minorities in the legal profession and addresses critical legal issues relevant to Asian Americans and the Nevada Bar. In 2023, ABANV expanded its reach by changing its name from the Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas to Asian Bar Association of Nevada, reflecting its commitment to inclusivity and unity among Nevada attorneys across all regions. Through strategic partnerships, including affiliation with the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), ABANV members gain access to a network representing over 50,000 attorneys nationwide. The organization actively engages its community through events, mentorship programs, educational initiatives, and volunteer opportunities, inviting members to participate in committees and special projects.
