Asian Bar Association of Washington

The Asian Bar Association of Washington (ABAW) is Washington State's largest voluntary bar association dedicated to serving Asian Pacific American legal professionals. Based in Seattle, WA, ABAW represents hundreds of attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students practicing across a wide range of practice areas throughout the state. Since its founding in 1987, ABAW has grown to become an essential professional resource for the Asian Pacific American legal community in Washington.

ABAW provides comprehensive networking opportunities and professional development support for its diverse membership base. Through an extensive network of specialized committees, the organization monitors legislative developments, evaluates judicial appointments, rates judicial candidates, and advocates for equal opportunity within the legal profession.
