The Chinese American Cultural Association (CACA) in Edison, NJ is a comprehensive cultural organization offering a diverse range of educational and cultural programs designed to serve the Chinese American community across New Jersey. Since its establishment in 1974, CACA has developed an extensive network of services including five Chinese language schools located throughout the region—Raritan Valley Chinese School in Bridgewater, Mid-Jersey Chinese School in East Brunswick, Murray Hill Chinese School in Warren, Union Chinese School in Westfield, and Edison Chinese School in Metuchen. Beyond language education, CACA operates specialized programs including the Chinese American Music Ensemble in Plainfield, Chinese American Dance Ensemble in Edison, and a Chinese Culture Summer Camp in Somerset. The organization provides targeted programming for various age groups through its 40-Plus Club, Women's Club, Teen's Club, Young People Music Program, and New Jersey Children Theater Program. CACA also hosts athletic and recreational activities including a tennis program. Throughout the year, the organization organizes major cultural events such as the Chinese New Year Festival, Fun Fair, Annual Concert, and participates in community celebrations including the Asian American Heritage Festival, Edison Fall Festival of Fireworks, and various county fairs.
