Chinese Community Center of Capital District of New York

The Chinese Community Center of Capital District of New York is a comprehensive cultural and educational organization serving the Latham, NY area and surrounding Capital District communities. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1974, the Center offers diverse programming across multiple disciplines including a Chinese language school, traditional folk dance groups, chorus, calligraphy workshops, and sports clubs such as tai chi, pingpong, and mahjong. The organization operates specialized programs including youth empowerment initiatives, English-Chinese language study courses, and cultural performance groups that have performed at regional venues including the Festival of Nations, Schenectady Museum Festival, and First Night celebrations.
