Columbus Chinese Association

Columbus Chinese Association offers comprehensive Chinese language education and cultural programming to the Columbus, IN community. Operating the Columbus Chinese Language School (CCLS), the organization provides structured instruction in Chinese language with broad community support and engagement. Beyond academics, CCA organizes a diverse array of cultural activities throughout the year, including the celebrated Chinese New Year Gala, summer picnics, and sports events that bring together families and individuals interested in Chinese heritage. The association plays a significant role in Columbus's cultural landscape, serving as a key participant in the Columbus Ethnic Expo and maintaining an active calendar of community celebrations. With roots extending back to the 1990s as Columbus Chinese Association-Taiwan, the organization evolved in 2000 to expand its mission and include all overseas Chinese and culture enthusiasts. The organization welcomes membership from all U.S. citizens and residents of Chinese descent, as well as anyone interested in learning about and celebrating Chinese culture. CCA operates on a volunteer basis with no membership fees required, making participation open and accessible to the entire Columbus community.
