The Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA) serves the Atlanta, GA legal community and beyond by advancing the professional interests and opportunities of Asian Pacific American attorneys and legal professionals. Since its establishment in 1993, GAPABA has grown from 13 charter members to over 500 paid members, representing judges, elected officials, managing partners of major law firms, government attorneys, non-profit practitioners, and solo practitioners throughout Georgia.

GAPABA conducts comprehensive professional activities designed to support career advancement and community service. The organization represents and advocates for the interests of Asian Pacific American lawyers within the legal profession, while actively encouraging professional growth through networking, mentorship, and fellowship opportunities among legal professionals. GAPABA works to broaden professional opportunities for Asian Pacific American attorneys, law students, and other members of the legal profession by providing access to career development resources and expanded networks.

A key focus of GAPABA's mission involves coordinating legal services to Asian Pacific American communities across the state of Georgia, ensuring underserved populations have access to quality legal representation. The organization also serves as a unified voice for legal professionals on matters of concern to the legal community, providing a forum for advocacy and policy discussion. Through its Law Foundation, GAPABA supports law students pursuing careers in the legal field via scholarship programs including the Hemanth Digumarthi Scholarship, Trinh Huynh Fellowship, and Han Choi Scholarship. GAPABA maintains active committees, hosts annual galas and professional events, and operates a job board connecting legal employers with qualified candidates in the Atlanta area and throughout Georgia.
