Greater Nashville Chinese Association

Greater Nashville Chinese Association (GNCA) serves the Nashville, TN community as a comprehensive cultural and community organization dedicated to connecting individuals, families, and businesses within the Chinese and broader Middle Tennessee population. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1984, GNCA provides a dynamic platform for cultural exchange, heritage preservation, and community engagement. The organization hosts signature events throughout the year, including the Chinese New Year Gala at Belmont University, the Duanwu Festival, and the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations at local parks. GNCA actively supports educational initiatives such as the IM INSPIRED Asian-themed book essay contest, designed to help students explore Asian American history and cultural contributions. The organization also facilitates professional development opportunities, having hosted seminars on career advancement and job search strategies for community members. With over 500 active participants representing diverse backgrounds from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia, GNCA connects local Chinese businesses, language schools, and cultural centers.
