North Houston Chinese Association

The North Houston Chinese Association (NHCA) is a registered nonprofit organization serving the greater Woodlands, TX community and surrounding areas including Spring, Shenandoah, Conroe, Cypress, and Tomball. As a non-political, non-religious community organization, NHCA specializes in organizing and facilitating social and cultural activities that strengthen community engagement among Chinese immigrants and residents throughout North Houston. The organization provides a comprehensive platform for cultural exchange, educational programming, and community service opportunities. NHCA's service offerings include organizing major cultural celebrations such as the annual Lunar New Year Gala, hosting educational seminars on practical life topics including financial planning, tax law, home maintenance, and lifestyle medicine, and coordinating volunteer activities with local organizations like the Houston Food Bank and Montgomery County Foodbank. The association also facilitates cultural arts events, dragon boat racing competitions, family-friendly activities, and educational partnerships with institutions like Lone Star College for Chinese language and cultural courses. Since its founding in 2009, NHCA has grown to serve over 400 members and has become the largest Chinese community organization in North Houston.
