Organization of Chinese Americans Asian Pacific American Advocates Wisconsin serves the Milwaukee, WI community with a comprehensive mission centered on social justice, civic engagement, and cultural preservation. As one of 80 chapters of the national Organization of Chinese Americans founded in 1973, OCA-Wisconsin works to advance the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans throughout the state. The organization focuses on four core service areas: advocating for social justice and equal opportunity in fair treatment; promoting civic participation, education, and leadership development; building coalitions and fostering community partnerships; and preserving and celebrating Chinese cultural heritage. OCA-Wisconsin organizes social activities, cultural celebrations, and community events that bring together Asian Pacific American residents and allies.
