About Texas Asian Business Students Association

The Texas Asian Business Students Association (ABSA) at the University of Texas at Austin is one of the largest and most prestigious student organizations on campus, dedicated to developing well-rounded business leaders through comprehensive professional development programming. Established in 1987, ABSA has grown to over 300 members annually and operates on three core pillars: Professional, Social, and Philanthropic initiatives.

On the professional front, ABSA provides members with extensive real-world business development opportunities throughout the academic year. The organization hosts approximately 50 events annually, including company information sessions led by Fortune 500 business leaders, professional skills workshops designed to enhance workplace readiness, and exclusive company field trips that offer behind-the-scenes exposure to leading firms.
